While teaching students with autism, John Miller was diagnosed with Asperger's. He began the long road of accepting his own diagnosis. Realizing the barriers he had faced throughout his life, he became a strong advocate for individuals on the spectrum. His manuscript based on his own life and
teaching experiences is titled, "The A Word: My Life With Asperger's and the World of Autism”. He is now working on his manuscript on dating and relationships for males with high functioning autism and Asperger's titled;”Navigating the Minefield: A Dating and Relationship Guide for Males with
Dr. Lori Ernsperger is an international presenter, author, college professor, educational consultant and the President of Autism and Behavioral Consulting. Dr. Lori Ernsperger received her Ph.D. degree in Special Education from Indiana University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has over 27 years of experience working in the public schools
as a classroom teacher, administrator, and behavioral consultant. Dr. Ernsperger provides staff development and conference workshops to school district personnel and parents.
